At age 16, Katherrin started organizing the first annual Visionary Art Gallery with the assistance of a $300 community grant from America’s Promise Alliance and money saved from her part time job. After months of outreach, marketing, and budgeting, Visionary came together, featuring artists from CPS, private, and Nobel school districts including Northwestern University, ChiArts, Northside College Prep, Walter Payton, Lane Tech, UIUC, UIC, and Senn.
